# Arctic Router

The Arctic Router serves as the intelligent navigation system of the protocol. Think of it as a smart GPS system that not only knows all possible routes but also continuously analyzes traffic conditions to find the optimal path.

Key features of the Arctic Router include:

Path Optimization: The router analyzes all possible trading routes across different subnets and liquidity pools. It considers factors such as:

* Available liquidity in each pool
* Transaction costs across different paths
* Network congestion levels
* Historical trading patterns

Smart Order Routing: When a user initiates a trade, the router breaks down the transaction into optimal segments. It might split a large trade across multiple pools or route it through intermediate tokens to achieve the best possible price.

Fee Optimization: The router constantly monitors network conditions across different subnets to minimize transaction costs. It can predict and avoid congestion, ensuring users get the most cost-effective execution for their trades.
